All our instructors are trained in the curriculum developed by the founding grandmasters and have extensive experience working with kids and managing the classroom. Every instructor is passionate about helping children build confidence, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of chess.
Yes. If your child doesn't feel the class is the right fit after their first lesson, we'll refund your tuition. We want every student to feel confident, challenged, and excited to learn.
Our chess classes are designed for all levels, including complete beginners. We teach kids ages 5–16, starting with the fundamentals and building up to advanced strategies. Your child will be supported from their very first lesson.
Schedules vary by location. Visit our Locations page or contact us, and we'll help you find the best class for your child's age and skill level.
Currently we offer after-school programs at schools' premises in Massachusetts and California. We plan to expand our offerings into advanced evening and weekend group classes soon. To learn more about the latter, please contact us directly.
Nothing but curiosity. Chess sets and learning materials are provided.
Our classes typically include 4–12 students. Small groups allow instructors to provide individual attention while keeping lessons interactive through games, puzzles, and friendly competition.
